The typography and photos were collected during extensive travels through Latin American countries, by the graphic designer Andy Currie. Hand painted signs found adorning walls and storefronts have been redrawn and placed over a randomised landscape photo, to evoke the atmosphere and environment of the original setting. Both layers are shuffled at random in an attempt to show how these handpainted signs, while all very different, can be paired with any Latin American scene and not just the wall they came from. They all have a distinctive Latin flavour, reflecting the energy of their surroundings.
